The patrol division consist of 4 patrol shifts and one Resident Deputy shift. The patrol units primary responsibilities are answering calls for service, property checks, and the service of warrants and other court orders. The patrol shifts work on a rotating 12 hour shift. Our Resident Deputy program assigns deputies to specific regions in the county. These deputies are responsible for conducting community crime watch meetings in their area as well as assisting the Criminal Investigations Division. Resident Deputies also work court room security while the Circuit Court is in session.
