The Criminal Investigation Division of the Sheriff's Office is responsible for investigation any and all criminal activity within the county with the exception of VICE crimes. Within this division there is a dedicated Criminal Domestic Violence Investigator, a dedicated Gang Investigator, as well as a dedicated Juvenile Investigator.  Captain Thomley and Lt.
